Vlaams Belang, the Flemish nationalist group, will launch a “stop Islamisation” campaign, beginning in Antwerpen and then extending to other Flemish cities. VB wants an end to registration of newcomers in the city, the number of mosques to be restricted and radical imams to be expelled.

Filip Dewinter, VB leader in the Flemish Parliament, says that Islam is “pursuing a deliberate strategy to conquer Flemish cities”. This is being achieved by increasing concentration, the formation of ghettoes and the refusal of Muslims to integrate. More and more native Belgians are moving away from the cities.
VB wants to end immigration to Antwerpen and to encourage voluntary repatriation. In addition they want Islam to be scrapped as a recognised religion and subsidies paid to the Muslims to be ended. VB say that they should not create a society where there are segregated swimming pools and halal meat in schools. Islam must adapt to Belgian life and not the other way round.
